One date. A number you can return to.
Counter records a date you choose and displays days since it, or days remaining until it. Use it for a no-contact period, a personal start date, or an upcoming event. No traditional account is required; your counters are stored on our servers and linked to your browser session.
Start with the right date
Choose count up for a past starting point, or count down for a future target. Give the counter a label you are comfortable storing on the service. A general name such as “My date” can be enough; you do not need to explain your circumstances.
Today is day zero. As an example, a count-up date of October 1 shows 9 days on October 10. A countdown to October 15 shows 5 days remaining on October 10. These are calendar-date counts, not a stopwatch or a record of completed daily actions.
Correct a date without starting over
If you entered the wrong date, open the counter and use the calendar edit button. For a countdown, edit the target date. Reset is a separate count-up action: it changes the start to today. The app is not a journal of every previous streak, so do not rely on reset to preserve a full history.
Keep a way back
Your browser stores a recovery/session identifier. Save your recovery ID somewhere secure or link an optional recovery email in the app. Clearing browser storage can remove your access without deleting the server records. Treat a recovery ID as private: anyone using it may gain access to your counters.
Private by default is not the same as local-only
A private counter is not offered on a public share page. Turning sharing on makes its link viewable by others and public counters can be included in search-engine sitemaps. A link can be forwarded, indexed, or copied. Make the counter private again to stop future public access, but copies and search caches may remain.
A free starting point, with optional paid counters
The first eligible counter is free. Device and network checks help enforce that allowance. Additional-counter credits, a three-counter bundle, and an unlimited monthly plan are available. The app and Stripe checkout show the current prices and billing terms before payment. This is a personal date tracker, not a shared team workspace, medical service, or legal deadline calculator.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to check in every day?
No. Counter derives the display from the date you saved. It does not independently confirm that you maintained a habit or avoided contact.
Does a public link stay confidential?
No. Public links can be forwarded and public counters may be indexed. Avoid names or sensitive details if you turn public sharing on.
